My Students

My students from the Bronx are part of a District 75 Elementary School Program for children with special needs. My students are inquisitive, energetic, and are in great need of hands-on sensory tools to help them attend and become successful.

Each of my students have individual learning styles and require various sensory supports.

But the one thing they have in common is that they love to engage in hands-on activities. My goal this year is to work on life skills to help prepare them for the future.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The students will each be using the kinetic sensory sand and tilt turn sensory window to help them when faced with challenging situations and to transition to work.

The calming cuddling ball will be a great asset for my students who have behavior intervention plans that are focusing on diminishing off task behavior due to sensory issues.
