Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Pre-K class consists of 18 wonderful, inquisitive, and sweet children. Everyday the children loved to come to school to learn and socialize!

Unfortunately, it is no longer safe to go to a physical classroom.

My young students still however, need to keep connected to eachother and to me, their teacher. They still need to learn important concepts. I am hoping I can make that happen in the best possible way through the use of technology through our remote learning classroom.

My Project

Due to the closure of school buildings in NYC, we have two more months of school via remote learning. This makes it hard for children to have access to the books and literacy materials that we specifically need for our curriculum to learn important concepts.

Please help me provide stories and literacy activities to my students via remote learning!

There are books and literacy materials I can not find online that I would like to record myself reading or read live for my class so they can learn important learning concepts related to the themes of Babies and Transformations. It is important although these children lost their physical classroom, they remain connected to eachother and me, their teacher through read alouds and online interactions.

Please help us get the books, poems, and literacy materials my students need to learn via remote learning. We would greatly appreciate any help you can give! Thank you for supporting literacy for our classroom through this tough time!
