My Students

My students thoroughly enjoy learning Science by "playing" with hands-on activities, so I try and provide as many as possible in my classroom.

My students are a highly inquisitive and motivated group of 9th and 12th-grade Science students.

We are a comprehensive public charter high school located in Southern California. My students are always motivated by real-world applications of what we are learning, and I try as best I can to provide them with the opportunities to learn from hands-on activities.

My Project

The Snap Circuit electrical circuit kits I have asked for will give my students opportunities to create electrical circuits and explore concepts of electromagnetism through a variety of hands-on labs. The skills learned in these labs will help them prepare for college in that they will be using the fundamentals of electromagnetism to build their circuits while also practicing good data collection and analysis skills.

Your help will make it possible for me to provide a new hands-on lab opportunity for my students to develop a love for the sciences.
