My Project

Improving the development of socio-emotional skills helps to influence a child's self-confidence, empathy, the ability to develop meaningful and lasting friendships and partnerships, and a sense of importance and value to those around him/her. Children's social and emotional development also influences all other areas of development.

My goal for this project is to improve their skills learn how to identify their emotions and advocate for themselves

My students deserve the world, and in order to survive in it, they have to be taught the skills to manage. My students need books, activities, and games to improve their socioemotional skills.

Mrs. Yates Martin Luther King High School Grades 9-12
