My Students

My classroom was affected greatly by this pandemic. Living in an area where the kids are already not receiving equitable resources, school being cancelled has broadened their education gap even further.

My students were not even able to receive computers until two months after school was out because of inequitable funding.

With the unknown of what this school year has in hold with this pandemic, I need to make sure my students have a chance to effectively learn from home!

My Project

These headphones will not only allow my students to hear the lessons, but the microphone will allow them to respond! Having over the ear headphones will allow them to focus on the lessons and won't hurt their ears from discomfort.

My students will be in an environment where there will probably be some chaos around them during school hours.

Between little siblings or families members running around, having to transition to different places where they will have different supervision, etc. I hope these headphones will help keep the students focused on their lessons and help them feel more of a school environment during these trying times!
