Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These are some basic necessities for my class to help the students who lack them succeed. Many students come to school without the basic supplies like pens, pencils, paper and food. These craft supplies and colored paper will help the students feel good about the work they are submitting. The snacks will be a great reward for those doing a great job in class. Food is such a motivator. The book shelf will help organize and put on display the books I've collected over my 20+ year career. We are now bringing back a reading program that was successful in the past and the students will need a book to choose from.
