My Students

My incredible students are distance learning champions! They have remained eager, kind, diligent, and more than ever want to learn. Our school provides a stimulating college preparatory education to all our students, including those with emotional, behavioral, and physical challenges. In 2016, we expanded our school community to include 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grades. This past year we have grown to include kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades! The recent pandemic forced our students to learn from home. This has posed many challenges for them. We wish to help our students have the best possible learning experience during the Covid-19 pandemic.

My Project

All of our elementary students currently receive online lessons with both a teacher and teacher's assistant for each class. These noise cancelling headphones will provide much needed focus at home for those who are living in small spaces with noisy households.

These noise cancelling headphones will help our students achieve more success and feel their learning environment is more peaceful and free from distractions at home while learning online during the Covid-19 pandemic.




Some of our student's are living in noisy homes which are small, with multiple children and pets living within their households. Often times our students can be very distracted by the ongoing sounds of other children, family members, televisions, computers, and other loud distractions. In situations like this, our students really worry about information they've missed during lessons. These headphones would ensure our student's success, and hopefully prevent learning loss.
