This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are running low on paint halfway through our year and need to restock!

Our scholars have expressed that they want to learn how to paint from observation like famous artists do, so getting some fake fruits to begin studying would be awesome!

I will be showing them examples from many different artists, such as Cezanne, Monet, and Da Vinci, and then they will create their own still-life compositions to paint in acrylics.

This project will showcase all that they have learned in art class since the beginning of the year, so please help us restock and create some masterpieces!
