My Project

I have a classroom of wonderful and unique three, four and five year olds. All of these children come from low-income families as well as some children having special needs. I would love to celebrate their success for all of their hard work by having a special celebration and promotion at the end of the school year. Each child would be given a shirt to tie dye any way they wish. It will be unique, just as they are. It will let them be artists and show their individuality. These shirts will be worn for a celebration with the parents showcasing all of their accomplishments. We will be singing a song about being happy and reminding us that we don't have to worry, because everything will be alright. I want them to remember that this class is always a safe place for them where they can be themselves and where they will always be loved and accepted just the way they are.
