My Project

Our DonorsChoose project is vital for enhancing the educational experience of our special education students, who face unique challenges in the classroom. By providing noise-cancelling headphones, we create an environment that reduces external stimuli, allowing our students to focus better on their learning. This simple yet effective tool helps to minimize distractions, fostering an atmosphere conducive to academic success. Moreover, the integration of fidgets and calming items into their daily routine plays a crucial role in helping students regulate their emotions and maintain their attention throughout the day. These resources empower students to manage their sensory needs, ensuring they have the necessary support to thrive.

In our classroom, we witness the determination and resilience of our students every day.

They come to school eager to learn, often with limited resources, and they strive to do their best despite the challenges they face. By securing funding for our project, we will provide essential items, such as headphones, pencils, and dry erase markers, that not only promote focus and calmness but also affirm our students' efforts and commitment to their education. Investing in these tools not only supports their academic growth but also nurtures their overall well-being. With the enhanced resources from our DonorsChoose project, we aim to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where our special education students can flourish and reach their full potential!
