This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we approach Earth Day 2025 help my garden club students gain seeds to begin to plant and help us grow our high school garden. My students are asking for seeds to grow in our planters and a wheeled cart to help with the transportation of soil. My students are passionate about creating a green space at school where all students can come and enjoy the growing garden.

My students have expressed how being in the garden has helped them relax and has improved their mental health.

The garden club is a group of students that strive to bring and expand the garden to all students at our school.
