Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a fifth-grade teacher in a Title 1 school in the Bronx, I am committed to creating a classroom environment where my students feel safe, supported, and ready to succeed. To make this possible, I’m seeking your help to provide essential supplies that will address their academic, emotional, and physical needs.

With your support, I hope to secure:

Hand sanitizer, tissues, and paper towels to maintain a clean, healthy environment and reduce absences due to illness.

Organization tools to help students stay on top of their work and feel empowered in their learning.

Fidgets and floor cushions to give students alternative seating options and tools to focus, especially those who benefit from sensory input.

Snacks to ensure no student is distracted by hunger and can fully engage in their lessons.

These items might seem small, but they make a world of difference in helping my students focus, collaborate, and thrive. Your contribution will directly impact my classroom, creating an environment where every child can reach their fullest potential.
