My Project

Hello!

I have a 1st-3rd grade Special Education class of emerging readers and I would love help expanding our classroom library.

Learning about science, history, art, and social emotional learning is an invaluable gift I would love for them to have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my underserved students get the tools they need and deserve for learning. My class is full of emerging readers and are very excited to learn more about the world around them and what better way to learn than through reading! This demographic is historically underserved and deserves to have the same tools and experiences as their neurotypical peers. The joy they have when they are decoding words and then comprehending what they just read is amazing to see and I'd love for them to expand their worlds with books.
