My Students

My kids come from a place where they have received very limited resources at home, and unfortunately at school too. They are not given the materials that are necessary for them to develop their minds to the full potential. These children are so talented and special, and just need to receive an equitable opportunity that other schools get to reach their full potential.

My students come in every day doubting themselves and what they are capable of; I am working day in and day out to show these kids that they can and will succeed!

My Project

Distance learning is going to create many changes that we all need to adjust to this year. As I am constantly looking for innovative ways to help my students get an equitable education, being able to bind books together will help not only for distance learning but for when we're back in the classroom too!

The binding machine will not only bind together learning packets from the curriculum the students can take home, but it will also allow me to make books of their work and writing!

This machine will help continue hands on learning, even from home, and will travel to the classroom when we get back! The books the students can make will help them take ownership of their learning, even in the most trying of times like these!
