Help My Amazing Students Reach Their Highest Potential!
Help me give my students manipulatives to help understand fractions in math.
These manipulatives really help my students see the concepts. Many of my students need the flexibility in seating to help them focus in class.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach 18 amazing 9-10 year olds at a Title I school where 80% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. I have many ELL students that need extra support in their learning. They are all enthusiastic about learning new things and all work hard to achieve their best everyday. As their teacher, I want to support that in every way I can.
My Project
I have seen classroom with flexible seating show amazing results with students being able to focus more and have more positive outlooks with learning. Giving students choice in their seating also fosters cooperation between students helping them learn social-emotional skills.
Manipulatives for math are really beneficial for my students to visually see the concepts they are learning.
This year, fractions are a huge part of our curriculum and one of the most difficult concepts to understand. These fractions tiles will really help my students understand and incorporate fractions.
I like to do book studies in class and "Because of Winn-Dixie" is a great one for my students to learn about plot, theme, characterization in a book. Right now we share a set between classes and it would be wonderful for each student to have their own book to really go deep in learning with this set.
