My Project

My dedicated students inspire me every day with their resilience and creativity. Serving a diverse special education community in the East Bronx, I am committed to providing a safe and engaging learning environment for my high school students, many of whom come from low-income families. The resources I’m requesting—disinfectants, flexible seating cushions, sensory tools, manipulatives, and storage options—are essential in creating an organized and hygienic classroom. These supplies will not only promote health and safety but also support the unique sensory needs of my students, enabling them to focus and engage more fully in their learning.

The impact of these resources goes beyond just cleanliness and organization; they play a crucial role in fostering an environment where my students can thrive.

By incorporating sensory tools and manipulatives, I can tailor lessons to meet diverse learning styles, helping each student to connect with the material in a way that resonates with them. With your generous support, I can transform our classroom into a space that encourages exploration, creativity, and growth, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.
