This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hola! I am a first year ESL teacher in a large urban school district where all students are 100% free lunch. I will be teaching grades kindergarten through 6th grade, so the various resources I have requested will benefit students at different levels.

My project consists of phonics books, flash cards, and games to help support my bilingual students in strengthening their reading and writing skills in grades kindergarten through 6th grade.

I believe every child should be given the proper tools in school to help facilitate their learning in the classroom. The helpful workbooks, flash cards, and games will be a great addition to my first ESL room and will help make learning English a little smoother.
