My Students

Everyone deserves an education that is filled with great memories. Please help me start the beginning of my Kindergrtners education comfortably!

I work in a school in Harlem that services many low income families.

We have a diverse community of learners that most schools would die for. The children look forward to coming to school each and every day. Our children are fun, talented, bright, and loving. Unfortunately, the area in which our students come from isn't the greatest. Our school acts as a second home for most, providing a safe and secure learning environment for all.

My Project

My class is in need of an area rug where we can meet, greet, and learn together. The meeting area is a central part of our classroom. Many of our time is spent meeting with one another before and after lessons. Learning can happen any and every where, but I would like for my students to have the opportunity to be in a space where they are comfortable while learning. Please help me create a comfortable space for my students.

People wish for many things.

Some wishes are big and some are small. Having a rug, I feel, is one of those small wishes that can make a big difference inside our class. Unfortunately, life does not deal out situations that are the greatest for many of our children and families. Make a difference in the lives of 27 Kindergrtners and help them get on a comfortable road to success.
