Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In September, May and June, my scholars work through some pretty intense conditions. They are already trying to reacclimatize to the school setting and are BEYOND eager to do so. However, the temperature gets excruciatingly hot during those months. The classroom was close to 90 degrees on the first day of school.

Despite these extremely hot conditions, my scholars walked in with eager smiles on their faces, ready to get back into the classroom to some routine, structure, learning, love and fun.

Please help me ensure that they are provided with an environment that is conducive to learning with the requested air conditioner. Please help me avoid my students falling asleep due to these inadequate and unfair learning conditions.
