Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from low-income housing with most single parent or grandparent households. School is most of the time the only stable place. Some of the students that are coming are also new to the country. Making distance learning even more difficult and challenging.

My Project

Changes can be scary but learning is still a priority. With the need to stay home due to rising cases in Miami, I must find a way to deliver the best educational experience to my group of Third Graders! My future group is a group of innocent babies from low-income families that are struggling with all the new changes.

A smooth transition from school to home needs to be seamless.

Since we can not physically be in the classroom, I need to bring as much of that classroom feel into my home.

While using video conferencing with my students I will use the cart to help raise the view of the laptop to help my students get a clear view of the whiteboard where they can view examples of the lessons. Please help me to give my students the best possible experience in this new normal.
