My Students

My students are super special to me. They live in one of the poorest places in the world, but they don't know it, because they are rich in the spirit of learning. They love to discover new things! They come to school with a smile on their face, which would make you smile too. They are ready to start each day and learn something new.

I love to see them discover something, that light just switches on and an even bigger smile just comes across their face when they realize how good it feels to know something they didn't know before.

Once that switch of understanding flicks on, there is no stopping them. Such excitement in our classroom! They love coming to school every day!

My Project

The journals will help my students learn to communicate through writing. They really need help in this area and I want to show them how great it is to express themselves through the written word. We will use these journals every day! So many ideas come to mind when I think of how to use them. If we get these journals in their hands, I am so sure they will love them!

I know my children will love these books.

It will be all about them, it will be theirs. It will be their writing, their pictures, their thoughts, it will prove to them that they matter. It will prove to them writing is powerful.
