Help me give my students the phonics materials needed to reach those struggling with letter identification and sounds! This will help them become strong readers!

My Project

My kindergarten students are my world. Unfortunately, the majority came into my classroom with little to no understanding of what a letter is. I have quite a few students who are struggling with basic letter identification and sounds which makes it very difficult to begin reading words and thus books.

Learning letters and sounds truly is the foundation to reading and it all starts with their names.

Please consider donating to our classroom. Your donation will go to purchasing activities on Teachers Pay Teachers that are not only engaging but are geared for these skill sets. My students know they are behind by seeing their peers reading books independently and I want to give them all the opportunities to flourish as young readers.
