Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 185 students from all over Los Angeles county. They are the kindest and most joyful students ever! These girls come from all backgrounds and they are eager to learn history courses in our large classroom.

Our classroom is large but it needs posters, learning equipment, school supplies, and other things to make our learning more enjoyable, fun, and richer!

My Project

These materials will help my students complete projects in the several classes that I teach. We often use scrap paper, markers, and all kinds of artwork during groupwork and during other leisure time. Moreover, the posters help students learn especially in the US history courses, the presidential posters are a great way to track our learning for instance. Also, I want girls to be inspired by influential women and women of color by decorating the class with inspirational pictures and quotes. These materials will remain in the classroom for many years!
