Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is an amazing group of students! They are compassionate and welcoming. This class is coming into 4th grade from being in the same 3rd grade class, and have an incredible sense of community. They all come from different backgrounds and have made great bonds with each other.

This group of students is kind, generous and very helpful.

They are always eager to find out what new concepts they will be learning about. They are respectful and take into consideration the opinions of others. They are awesome kids!

My Project

The variety of books I have chosen for this project will allow my students to be exposed to different genres of books at their reading levels. Since I am transitioning to 4th grade from kindergarten, most of the books in my library are for younger students and this project will really help me grow my library for my upper elementary class.

I want to use these books to get my students excited about reading.

This project will help me be able to provide them with books they will find interesting, ranging from fantasy to realistic fiction to historical accounts. I want them to find joy in reading and need the right books to do so!
