Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are young and eager to explore the world around them! I teach Pre-K 3 to eighteen wonderful and creative students who spend the majority of their day learning through play! From singing songs, to building, coloring, and even painting, my kids are on the move and showing their growth in the most miraculous ways.

My school is full of passionate teachers, who work diligently every day to engage and scaffold instruction and play so our students become leaders.

Through their leadership, we can have a better tomorrow!

My Project

My students are learning and growing everyday, including their bodies! With these "toys" and activities available we will be able to develop teamwork skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and body awareness!

The throw and catch balls will be great to play out on the playground between partners.

We have one set of the Turtle stepping stones and they are a hit! So much so that I need another set for the size of my class. With both of these outside the students will be able to choose their unstructured play activity instead of just the playground.

The busy books will be used indoors during our station rotation time and help develop those not-so-easy to learn fine motor skills such as buttoning, zipping, lacing and snapping!
