Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a mix of Special education students and regular education students. I team teach in this class, it is called an ICT class. They all love to learn, they especially love to read.

My students are really hard workers and they love literacy.

I have some out dated magazines that we use during reading station and this group really seems to love magazines which is why I would love to supply them with it. My students would also really benefit from word skill books.

My Project

I'm really excited about the scholastic news magazines and word books, because I can use it to teach them current events, and science topics as well as send it home or use it during reading centers. The skills books will help to supplement the phonics that we get in our programs books.

I hope you will take this opportunity to donate to a group of students who really love learning.

Your donation will give them an opportunity to read about current events as well as science topics in and outside of the classroom. It will also allow my students to use work books that will help to make them stronger readers. Thank You for you support!
