My Project

My students come to speech therapy ready to learn. They are hard-working and put forth their best effort to complete work, however, they all struggle to be on grade level. They recognize that speech therapy is a service that will provide them with learning strategies that they can apply in the classroom, and eventually carry over to the real-world. They deserve the opportunities to increase their knowledge, and not be put down for not understanding the material as quickly as those around them.

The topics in Scholastic Action Magazines are always relevant and my students love learning about new interesting topics.

Each magazine is filled with rich vocabulary, captivating graphics, interactive activities, and thought provoking questioning.

Using Scholastic Action Magazine would provide my students with authentic reading opportunities that are engaging and informative. The magazines will provide an environment full of enrichment literacy activities, and allow them to practice their reading skills and increase their reading level, by exposing them to different types of texts.
