My Project

This is a project that is near and dear to my heart. I have been very lucky to remain in the same classroom for the past few years and have been putting in a lot of work to make it a safe/cozy learning environment for my students. This year I'm asking for help from the Donorschoose community to continue the work that needs to be done in the classroom.

The physical classroom is such an important part of the student's learning and it's imperative that it's a place they feel at home in.

It's the space where every child grows and learns throughout the year. The lamp, trees, and rug I'm requesting are both decorative and STEM related. My goal this year is to make a cozy reading nook for the students and bring a lot of non-overhead lighting into the classroom. I am also asking for some tools that can be used during community building activities.
