Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are scientists, technologists, athletes, engineers, and mathematicians (among many other things!). They are super curious and want to make a change in the world.

As part of this, they need to have ample exposure to the skills and materials that students in affluent neighborhoods have.

My students, for the most part, come from a neighborhood in a large city in Arizona. They aim to be scientists, technologists, and problem-solvers, tackling real-world issues. With your help, they will achieve these ambitious goals!

My Project

Our school has a blended learning lab, where students work on a variety of personalized learning content. Many students work hard every day!

However, because this space is used by 400 students every day, it gets messy quickly and materials are quickly used up.

That's where your help comes in! By providing us with incentives, pencils, and Clorox wipes, you will help us keep this space well-stocked and neat. Likewise, students will have more access to resources, and will also have a clean and happy space to work in.

Research shows that an organized and welcoming classroom helps students focus on their academic work. With your support, we can better provide such a space for our students!
