Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Now more than ever, our students are in need of mental health support services in order to build up resilience and help students be successful in academics and life in and outside of the school environment. So many students are in need of these services—the referral stack is growing! Please help me create a calming, safe, and comfortable space for my students to enjoy in sessions. Worksheets, books, and toys for play therapy can improve the quality of services they receive, and creating a comfortable environment with cozy seating and calm lighting is a crucial foundation for therapeutic activities and healing to begin.
