My Project

The bioethics program at our high school is seeking to fund two class sets of "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks."

This classic work of reporting and science journalism is the perfect reading project for our engaged and curious students.

We plan to do projects - including readings, dramatic presentations, and artwork - based on this work.

Our engaged and lively students will benefit tremendously from working with this remarkable book. It is informative, heartbreaking, uplifting, and vexing all at once.

Our bioethics class is an elective for juniors and seniors and is a tremendously popular course.
