Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are high-school-aged children who volunteer their time after school for various activities. They enjoy sports medicine and oftentimes stay after school to help their fellow students with medical care. These medical magnet students are working hard to gain experience in the medical field and are studying a lot. They take advanced science classes and are some of the hardest working kids at our school. They are constantly helping others and pushing each other to do more to serve our school community.

These students often are leaders among their peers and are ready to lend a helping hand to others!

Their selflessness is inspiring daily and keeps everyone at the school motivated to do more and work as a team!

My Project

Our project is requesting materials for a formative learning assessment activity. Students will use the Post Its and markers, pens and highlighters to record what they have learned in class. They will note what "Stuck With Them" and this will help our class to recall learned information in addition to helping the teacher to know what needs to be reintroduced and focused on in class. Formative learning assessments help to ensure that all students are learning in the classroom and allows the teacher to customize the learning experience to teachers.

The best part about this project is the students will have bright color Post Its and highlighters to decorate the items they learned!

This will be a fun way to review what is covered in class and another way we can brighten up our classroom, thanks to your support!
