My Students

I teach a class of 25 fantastic kindergartners. My students are eager for hands-on adventures and challenges in learning. Our school loves the arts, science, and reading, and we integrate art and technology with our academics. We are a great multicultural family that loves to have fun as we learn! Many of my students speak a language other than English at home. All students receive free breakfast daily, and approximately 32% receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My students love working with technology, so I want to them to photograph different objects and locations at school that are meaningful to them so they can create individual books.

My Project

My kindergarten students each have special interests and places at our school that they love. Some students love our garden, while others love to play on our play structure. Other students have special places in our classroom where they can look at and read books.

Our SD cards will enable my students to photograph special places at school and the ink will allow students to print out the images for a memory book.

We will use the book for discussions, sharing, and writing. I have requested photo paper, ink cartridges for our color printer, and two SD cards for this project.
