My Students

Chances are some of your favorite memories from elementary school involve learning science. Students love to learn about new ideas and experiment. Our classroom's science reading materials are lacking!

We are a fourth grade classroom in a small public elementary school in Maine.

We are a group of 19 fun, generous, kind and smart students who are eager to learn! In a vote at the beginning of the school year, 16 our of 19 students said science was the subject they were most excited about learning in fourth grade. We look forward to our new subscription to learn about science news and current events!

My Project

We are requesting year-long subscriptions to two different magazines - Grade 4 Scholastic Magazine and SuperScience by Scholastic. Students will be able to enhance their literacy skills, learn about non-fiction texts and learn about exciting current events happening all over our world!

Scholastic Magazine subscriptions help students become up-to-date with current happenings in our nation and world.

This knowledge will help them enhance abilities in communication, analysis, critical thinking and accessing new information. We welcome your support to help our class develop 21st century skills and bring new reading material into our classroom.
