My Students

My students come from a diverse background. Each student has their own background, knowledge, and culture that ultimately make up our classroom Ohana. Never had anyone imagined the circumstances that we would all be faced with once this COVID pandemic hit. With social distancing becoming the new norm, teachers, students, and families had to make adjustments to this new learning environment.

As I continue to teach the importance of having GRIT and working through difficult times, your donation will help create a safe environment that will help uplift my students and give them the confidence to do anything they put their minds to doing.

My Project

As we get ready to come back to the 2020-2021 school year, we have the recent increase of COVID cases on our minds. As we return to the classrooms these things will be instrumental in helping to ease our minds and keep the classroom clean and germ-free. The air purifiers will help give the students and their parents some confidence as they come back to school. The air purifiers will help students who have allergies or difficulty breathing, especially with having to wear a mask all day. The air purifiers help pull allergens, dust, and other particles out of the air and may help keep the students healthier and safer within our classroom. The UV sanitation wands will also help to kill germs throughout the day on classroom furniture and everyday items used within the classroom.
