This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My scholars are bright, unique, and motivated learners. They attend our Philadelphia public Title I school. When I see my students excited to learn, this drives my passion to teach. Each year with a new group of children is a journey, and this year we are eager to add more individualized instruction and engaging technology-based lessons!
My students are truly some of the most inquisitive and intrinsically motivated learners I have ever had the pleasure of teaching.
All of our students live below the poverty line and are reading below grade level. We have many students in foster homes and some in shelters. Please help me provide the tools they need to close the achievement and increase reading levels.

My Project
Teaching has always been my passion. I love to help kids discover their love of learning and shine a light on each and every child's creativity and encouraging them to always be kind and stand up for what's right!
We have been learning all about the "Power of Three," how we take care of ourselves, each other, and our classroom, having these items donated will truly allow us to stay safe and healthy while learning.
With these materials, we can sanitize shared classroom tools, kill germs, get cups of water from the dispenser (fountains are closed) and have our own notebooks to journal in each day. Thank you for considering our project!
