My Students

I teach at a title 1 high school in Brooklyn, NY. This year I am teaching forensic science and the entire curriculum must be reworked to accommodate covid safety. Forensic Science is an awesome class built around hands on experiential learning.

My Project

Forensic Science is an awesome class because of hand-on, experiential learning. Students are excited to physically be back in the classroom, but many new safety guidelines are now in place, limiting the existing forensic science curriculum.

I teach in an amazing school district with students that come to class ready and eager to learn.

Students are excited to come to school and work hard everyday. My students are from an inner-city community of over 80% free and reduced lunch. Teaching in a Title 1 means supplies are limited and fundraising is a must when it comes to providing extra curriculum. By donating you will help me add to my current curriculum which gives my students more opportunities to look at forensic science in different and exciting ways, while remaining safe.

Please help me buy a new curriculum which contains all of the digital tools and activities necessary to engage students during this challenging time.
