My Students

My students come from a small community. We have a little over 400 students in grade PreK-5. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and school lunch. Our class sizes are typically smaller than most, and we love to be engaged with hands-on activities, centers, and technology-enhanced activities.

We love to have fun and our school provides learning experiences inside and outside of school.

Our school also provides rigorous academics, dedicated teachers and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently one of the top-performing schools in the state every year. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college.

My Project

My students love to use math manipulatives and technology. We find things to do on our SmartBoard, as well as fun games to play.

One of our favorite things to do is centers.

Centers allow us to move as we learn!

By helping us with this project, we will be able to use manipulatives to model problems. We love to play games while we are learning, and the tub of dice will provide so many different ways to practice our math standards, while having fun. The GeoStix will allow us to practice making different shapes while we learn about them!
