Help Grizzly TV Grow in 2025!

Help me give my students the ability to produce their school tv news show without their phones, which are not allowed to be used in 2025.

My Project

Please help these students from a highly transient area of our city, find their passion through the student generated Grizzly TV news. These middle schoolers have found a new passion to tell their stories and produce them in production teams. They write their own questions, ask permission from Staff and Faculty for interviews and access to support staff, upload their recordings online and I download it into the shell where they add music and edit in their production teams. Students use Capcut to edit their segment and all of the stories are compiled into one Canva shell. We aim at making 2 shows a week, so the class while a labor of love is also hard work. The Middle School student is trying to find out who thy are and I hope that this class is giving them an idea of what they could do & what they could be. Many of these students are the ones who don't volunteer to speak in class and share their words, but on camera they take magical transformations where they become on-air personalities. Students who are not a part of Grizzly TV ask to be interviewed because it shows Grizzly pride.

This new equipment will allow my Grizzlies to continue to create on site interviews throughout our school and community in Southern California.

I have requested microphones and a video camera. State law will prohibit use of phones in 2025. I have asked for t-shirts because as a Title I school, students don't have the money for the luxuries and I believe if they get their production teams on their shirts, it will only help grow Grizzly TV. This is my second year with Grizzly TV and it is a sheer pleasure to see the creativity of these students.
