My Project

I want to give my students the best art class possible. Please help make the art room more comfortable for younger students with items like dot markers, bean bag chair, and sculpting tools. They need spaces to emotionally regulate and a better listening spot.

Having a rug for students to sit down and watch the lesson at the beginning of class would be so helpful.

Currently, some students sit very far from where I stand and the smart board. It's impacted their learning and their focus. With a carpet, they can all sit in one space and all have a chance to hear and see.

A carpet would also be where we practice meditations to start and end class. Also, I do not currently have any comfortable spaces for students to take time out when they are overwhelmed. This has led to students being sent away due to disruptive behavior. I would rather help the students learn to emotionally regulate themselves by giving them a space to take a mindful moment.
