My Project

The specific items we are requesting—materials for rug tufting and clay to make more sculptures—it will provide our students with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities. These projects will help them develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and artistic expression. By engaging in these creative activities, students will enhance their problem-solving abilities and gain a deeper appreciation for the arts. The tactile nature of rug tufting and clay work will also encourage sensory exploration and can be particularly beneficial for kinesthetic learners.

Our goals for this project are to nurture our students' creativity, foster a sense of accomplishment, and build a collaborative classroom environment.

We aim to introduce them to new artistic techniques, such as rug tufting, which many have expressed interest in. Additionally, by revisiting new clay sculpture lessons, we hope to deepen their skills and confidence in working with this versatile medium. Overall, we strive to create a dynamic and inclusive art program that inspires students to pursue their artistic passions and think outside the box.

Our students are remarkable for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and collaborative spirit. They bring diverse perspectives and unique ideas to the classroom, making each project a true reflection of their individuality. Their passion for the arts is evident in their eagerness to explore new mediums and techniques. What sets them apart is their willingness to support one another and work together to achieve common goals. Their dedication and creativity make teaching them a truly rewarding experience, and I am continually inspired by their potential and drive.
