Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am thrilled to be teaching and coordinating the Saturday School RockStar Reader Literacy Intervention Program, where students receive extra reading support over the course of 8 Saturdays. Many of the participants also receive additional help during the week through WIN (Whatever I Need) reading intervention time. During this time, students borrow and return books from my classroom lending library, and I reward regular participation with various incentives, including snacks.
To make their hard work even sweeter, I am seeking your support to provide snacks for my students.
These treats will not only celebrate their dedication and progress in reading but will also create a joyful and rewarding experience at our culminating Saturday School celebration.
Thank you for helping fuel the love of reading and learning!
