My Project

Our classroom library has been a wonderful resource, but most of the books are over 20 years old and falling apart from years of love. While I’m incredibly grateful for the collection passed down to me, many books are held together by tape or missing pages entirely. My students deserve a library that matches their enthusiasm for reading and learning. This summer, I plan to give our library a complete refresh — repairing what I can, reorganizing the space, and most importantly, adding new, engaging books. With your support, I can introduce stories that will ignite their imagination and fuel their curiosity. From historical tales to fascinating facts, I want to offer books that inspire and reflect their wide range of interests. My students are a special group. They love diving into stories, discovering new ideas, and exploring history through the pages of a good book. Every day, their excitement reminds me how powerful reading can be. Your contribution will directly give them access to books that will challenge, entertain, and educate them for years to come.
