My Project

We would love your help supplying books for our book vending machine. We serve almost 600 students, grades Prek-2nd grade. Our book vending machine is used to reward students for positive behavior and to promote literacy. Students earn “Book Bucks” by showing leadership, good character, academic achievements, and improvements. After receiving ten book bucks, students can come to the library to get a golden coin to use in the book vending machine. We will also give each student a coin on their birthday so that all students can enjoy the book vending machine. Many of our students do not have books at home, and we hope that this book vending machine will help get more books into the hands of our students and help build their home libraries. Our students LOVE to read, and I cannot wait to see their smiling faces when they use their golden coin to choose a book from the vending machine! Thank you so much for helping us provide this exciting experience for our students.
