My Project

We are a public, Pre-K through 8th-grade Montessori school which is part of a large urban district in Ohio. Our school is comprised of students from all over our city, which has the 6th highest poverty rate in the nation. Our Montessori students follow a child-centered approach with the goal of developing each child physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively, allowing students to learn in collaborative groups. A key component of their Montessori education is hands-on learning and student choice.

Our robotics students get up an hour earlier for practice before school and often arrive hungry.

Having a wide variety of bars, crackers, pop tarts and fruit snacks will give them the energy to focus in the early morning and keep going. The robotics team often loops back into the lab during lunch and free periods and appreciates having Cheez-its, cookies, Z-Bars, and fruit roll-ups to keep their energy up.
