My Students

My students are learning to read and the tag reader would be another tool for them to use to help them read. My students are English language learners and they require a lot of auditory aids to assist them in learning how to read and develop their English language skills.

My students are English language learners.

They attend a New York City public school that is located in Brooklyn, NY. My students are eager to learn and are highly motivated to learn. The tag reader would be another excellent addition to their reading experience in the classroom.

My Project

Through using the tag reader, my students will not only develop their English language skills, but they will also be able to reinforce the reading skills and strategies that were taught to them in whole group instruction. My students will be able to have small group instruction and work on reading strategies that they need assistance with. The tag reader can also be used independently when my students go into literacy centers.

Reading is an essential part of life.

If a person cannot read, they cannot function in society. The tag reader will allow students to enjoy reading even more by practicing with a tool that is interactive.
