My Project

Supporting the mental health of our students is a top priority, and we are committed to providing them with effective tools and strategies to manage anxiety and build positive relationships. Our office is equipped with a variety of resources, including fidgets and weighted plush toys, designed to help students navigate their emotions and enhance their sense of comfort and security.

Fidgets are particularly useful for students who need to channel their energy or focus their attention.

By incorporating these tools into our sessions, we provide students with a constructive outlet for their restlessness, allowing them to feel more grounded and present. Weighted plush toys serve as another invaluable resource, offering a comforting sensory experience that can help alleviate feelings of anxiety and stress.

In addition to these individual tools, we utilize interactive games during small groups to foster connection and rapport among students. These activities are carefully selected to encourage teamwork, communication, and mutual support. By engaging in these games, students not only learn valuable social skills but also develop a stronger sense of community and belonging within their school environment.

These approaches collectively support our goal of creating a nurturing space where students can thrive emotionally and socially. By integrating fidgets, weighted plush toys, and group games into our mental health practices, we help students build resilience, manage their anxiety, and foster positive relationships with their peers. This holistic approach enhances their overall well-being and contributes to a supportive and inclusive school atmosphere.
