My Students

Since March 16, 2020, my students have been participating in distance learning. This has greatly affected both their education and my experience as a teacher. I have a diverse group of students each year that come with varying needs. As we continue to participate in distance learning for the upcoming school year, I am continuing to look for ways that will allow them to succeed as much as if they were in the classroom again.

Although we cannot begin our new school year face-to-face, I plan for my students to receive the same quality education as before.

Our district has developing programs that will allow all to access their online learning. As their teacher, I look forward to all of the upcoming interactions, growing, and learning that we will experience together!

My Project

Distance education is a new reality for both teachers and students alike. As the students participate in newly-developed technology programs, we as teachers need to help them achieve success. Unfortunately, my current laptop will not help me in this task.

With this new learning environment, it is more important than ever that students can communicate with and learn from their teacher.

With reliable technology, I am able to help my students in many ways! This laptop will allow me to create video lessons, do one-on-one tutoring sessions, and create a learning environment comparable to a regular classroom. I can write on a virtual whiteboard, demonstrate problems, and help students in ¨virtually¨ every way imaginable!

I am passionate about making learning fun for my students and I look forward to doing that again this upcoming school year!
