This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom come from many different backgrounds.

Our school is a high needs school located in the Bronx and is one of the largest elementary schools in the area, with approximately 1,200 students in attendance. Our classroom is composed of many different types of learners. My students are general education students, students with disabilities and English Language Learners.

My Project

Students will use these tablets to conduct research on various topics to complete our informational writing project. This year third grade students are being asked to complete a writing piece that compares and contrast aspects of two different cultures.

There are so many apps and internet resources that will help my students write their best essay yet!

Your donation will allow my students to use technology in the classroom and open a world of learning opportunities for them.
