Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class needs a refresh of several different supplies. Every student in my class needs a water bottle for fresh water after recess and during the day. We have had our traditional water fountains replaced with water bottle filling stations. So if a student doesn't have a water bottle, they are without water during the day.

We also need colored paper and markers.

Second graders will tackle ANYTHING if it's on colorful paper and they get to use a marker! It is the best and easiest incentive ever! The rocks, paint and paintbrushes will allow us to continue our annual "Kindness Rock" project. My students really look forward to painting and giving away the rocks.
